Few things capture the spirit of Provence quite like its lavender fields. On this tour, lavender is not simply something you admire from the road — it is at the heart of your day.

We take the time to seek out beautiful, lesser-known lavender fields, away from the busiest spots, and make several stops so you can truly enjoy their colours, scents and peaceful surroundings.

Towards the end of June, the lavender fields around Sénanque Abbey usually begin to bloom. From early July, as the flowering season moves to the Sault Plateau, we leave the Luberon fields behind and head there to discover another beautiful side of Provence. We also visit a local lavender farm to discover what happens behind the scenes, from distillation to the making of traditional lavender bouquets.

Along the way, you will also discover the charming villages and spectacular landscapes of the Luberon: warm stone, hilltop views, winding lanes and the timeless atmosphere of Provence.

A day to slow down, breathe in the scent of lavender and experience the Provence you came to see.

When a distillery visit is not available, we'll introduce you to lavender essential oil and share some insights into its traditional uses and production.
