Truffle Farm
Your day begins at a family-run truffle farm where a father and his two daughters welcome you into their world. Walk through the oak groves and join a traditional truffle hunt alongside trained dogs. Learn about the summer truffle, how it is cultivated, and why it holds such an important place in regional gastronomy.
Uzès
Continue to the beautifully preserved medieval town of Uzès
Stroll through its pedestrian streets, admire elegant stone facades, and enjoy free time for lunch. On Wednesdays, guests can explore the lively farmers’ market, or choose a restaurant on the famous Place aux Herbes, one of the most charming squares in the region.
Pont du Gard
In the afternoon, visit the UNESCO-listed Pont du Gard, a masterpiece of Roman engineering dating back to the 1st century AD. Walk toward the aqueduct with your guide for an introduction to its history before enjoying free time to explore the site at your own pace. Entrance is included.
Wine
End the day at a welcoming family-owned winery set in a beautifully restored farmhouse. Taste several wines from the Côtes du Rhône and Lirac appellations, along with the estate’s olive oil, and learn about local winemaking traditions before relaxing on the return journey to Avignon.

I joined Provans for the Yellow Tour from Avignon with Nicolas as our guide. His knowledge of the region and engaging stories made the day unforgettable. I enjoyed it so much that I booked the Orange Tour the very next day. A highlight was catching the Tuesday markets in Gordes, and I also loved seeing the beautiful natural sites you can’t easily reach without a car, like Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and the Pont du Gard. Nicolas is a fantastic guide, and I’d highly recommend both tours to anyone visiting Provence.
